About the covers
Pimp your ironing board with a new cover that not only looks interesting but also fits well and is durable enough to last the distance of years of ironing. For some of us this will be the usual once a month ironing marathon!
Ironing Board Covers NZ is a New Zealand based homewares business in Auckland that produces a range of hand crafted
ironing board covers that are visually interesting and yet also durable due to the materials they are made from: 100% cotton or 100% cotton drill with vintage wool blanket underlay. The covers are made to easily fit on a range of ironing board sizes as they are finished with elastic in bias binding and a toggle to adjust for a perfect fit for your board.
The standard ready made cover fits a range of board sizes from 113cm x 35cm to 128cm x 48cm. If your board size is outside this range, I can make a cover that will fit your board. All you need to do is send me through your board measurements and I can give you a quote.
If you have a fabric of your own that you would like made into a cover, I can do that for you.

What’s been happening …
I’m currently working on an upgrade to the website which will include a new layout. I’ve also added some new fabrics to my range – check these out in the Gallery
Also, to help the covers get a great fit on the board I’m now putting a toggle on the elastic so you can make some final adjustments if required.
What’s new…
I am always on the lookout for new fabrics for my range that are fun and interesting to liven up the ironing and give your ironing board the recognition it deserves. Keep an eye out on this page as this is where I’ll be posting pictures of any new fabrics I will be adding to my range. My latest favorite is this Sleepy Sloth cotton drill fabric.
